Rosehall Hotel - Edinburgh

Absolutely adored the breakfast with excellent handmade pasta options-what a culinary adventure! The location was spot on, with a bus stop right outside. Bonus points for the friendly staff who genuinely.

While the bed was a wee bit short for my height at 183/6ft, and my large bathroom wasn't ensuite but across from my room, it didn't dampen the experience. A charming old house, it just has the quirks you'd expect.

The staff are affable and helpful, and the host too.

The hotel is homely and fairly clean, has amazing views to the hills and neighbourhood. The rooms are huge and beautiful plus have essentials you need. The staff is lovely and very kind, and the host too. The breakfast offers a wide range of fresh bread and jam. The setting is marvellous and brilliant, short walk to to the hill with '' Arthur's seat '', Princes Street, and the centre, fairly nice area. We would be happy to recommend, to anyone staying in Edinburgh.

Just spent three nights at Rosehall and had a blast! Our family room was spacious and comfy. The bus stop right outside made getting into the city super easy. Martin, the host, helped us with breakfast even before hours-such a nice touch!

The family room was really spacious and comfy, perfect for our needs. The double bed had fresh linen and felt amazing, while the single bed was just as cozy for our child. The ensuite was clean and had everything we needed. Plus, the bus stop right outside made getting to the city easy!

The bathroom features a rather inconvenient height difference with a big step at the entrance, and the shower had subpar water pressure and temperature regulation. The room's layout felt cramped with a small closet unable to accommodate larger luggage.

Free Wi-Fi in rooms was great. Staircase can be tricky with luggage.

Good Family Stay with Easy Access to Attractions

A nice two-night stay! The spacious family room was perfect for us, and the proximity to a bus stop made city exploration easy. Breakfast options at nearby bakeries were good-don't miss trying the local pastries! The host's tips.

Had a fantastic group trip! The host was super helpful, giving us great tips for exploring Arthur's Seat and the Royal Palace. The bus service made it easy to reach the city center. Our room was comfortable, and the complimentary snacks were a nice touch.

Couldn't recommend more for an overnight stopping.

Cozy room, friendly host, with a lovely view and a delicious full British breakfast that gave a good start to my mornings, which I appreciated especially with the convenient access to public transport just across the street.

Loved the clean facilities and the comfy room with a lovely balcony view! The location was spot on, with shops and transport just a hop away. Plus, the climbing adventures were a good surprise!

Getting up the stairs with my heavy bags was a workout. My only balcony neighbour was a pigeon-charming, but not quite what I had in mind!

This hotel is good, and has free Wi-Fi, a tv, and express check-in/out. On my first stay, the staff helped me with directions, which I remember fondly. I highly recommend this hotel for a city break.

The room was tidy and had convenient amenities like an electric kettle, central heating, and tea/coffee making facilities, as well as a comfortable bed, and a delicious breakfast.
